>> Katsuro Damodred was born in Versailles, France to Moiraine Damodred and Thomdril Merrilin and has a fraternal twin sister. He posses an older sister and an older brother (now deceased). He is currently attending school in the Untied States under the supervision of his cousin, Caraline.

>> With aspirations to be a scholar like his maternal grandfather, Katsuro started studying the humanities at a young age. Like all Cairhienin he learned English and French side by side, and was trained in Latin by his mother. Once he entered school he took up the study of German. He plans to study Japanese and Danish in the future. When not attending his studies he is often practicing fencing or horseback riding or playing with his twin sister.

>> Katsuro's family life is mostly average for a young, admittedly upper class, Cairhienin, except for two incidents: When he was age two his older brother Illistar died at age eight, and when Katsuro was nine his father disappeared and was presumed dead. He has become extremely attached to his mother as a result.

>> Katsuro dreams of becoming a professor at La Sorbonne, and if that falls through, the University of California, Berkley. Aside from his sisters and mother he finds girls to be a strange species and wants little to do with them. He is still undecided on his cousin Caraline.
